   is the creation of Lucila Velez:
   one of Austin’s favorite Ethnic Dancers.
  Serving the Austin dance community since 1979

   Over the years, Lucila’s 30 years of dance and instruction experience has introduced audiences and students to the beauty and benefits of dance.

   Her dedication to the art inspired her to open her own business and is now one of Austin’s crown jewels of Middle Eastern dancing.Within her South Austin business is a fully functioning dance studio where she teaches students of all ages, shapes, and backgrounds.

   Lucila offers one-of-a-kind costumes, dance wear, accessories, music, drums, and jewelry.

Mondays at 7pm. Classes are ongoing for all levels

Classes will be one-hour with a progressive curriculum in the foundation of belly dance movements. We will work on technique to gain stamina and improve transitions . Each class includes a warm-up, strengthening exercises, posture, isolations, arm / hand movements and training drills for stationary and traveling steps. Then we will cool down and get center in mind, body and spirit

Do you enjoy Midde Eastern and Spanish Guitar? Well, now is your chance. After teaching rock and roll guitar to kids for the past 2 years, Ahmed is ready to teach Middle Eastern/ Spanish Guitar, as well as any style.
Teaching beginning students the basics to advance students the fine art of Middle Eastern/Spanish Fusion Guitar. Electric guitar and Rock Guitar lessons are also available.

One on one lessons. Bring your guitar and your muse.
